After reading up on your data-dimension, I checked your original Punta page in Internet Explorer 10 and 11. I expected it not to work in 10 due to comments on https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/HTML/Using_data_attributes and indeed does not show the popup but renders the popup in the original window.
What do you mean by original window, in IE10? i don't have IE10, and due to a disk breakdownm i dont'have IE9 either!
Do you mean the full page?
Users might run popup blockers, noscript and whatever and not every browser behaves the same (see the IE 10 above).
popup blockers will not stop my popup because it is nor a real popup, simply a full html page with bits hidden; as for noscript, well, they will not have many pages displaying asd they should.
